V.O.I.C.E. ABA uses secure, HIPAA-compliant technology platforms to support communication, documentation, scheduling, billing, and telehealth services.
SimplePractice: Client records, scheduling, billing, and telehealth services are managed through SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform. V.O.I.C.E. ABA has executed a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with SimplePractice to ensure that Protected Health Information (PHI) is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and security standards.
Google Workspace: V.O.I.C.E. ABA, LLC also utilizes a HIPAA-compliant version of Google Workspace for secure communication and internal record management. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) has been executed with Google to ensure appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for PHI stored within covered services such as Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Meet.
User Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for maintaining security on their end, including safeguarding account credentials and using secure internet connections when participating in services or telehealth sessions.
Encryption: Data within both SimplePractice and Google Workspace is encrypted at rest and in transit in accordance with each platform’s security standards.
Google Sites
While internal systems operate under a BAA, Google Sites is not a covered service under Google’s BAA. As a result, no Protected Health Information (PHI) is stored, transmitted, or displayed on the public-facing pages of voiceaba.com.
