One-on-one coaching is designed to support adolescents and adults in developing practical skills across academic, social, vocational, and independent living domains.
Services focus on building self-management, confidence, and independence through meaningful, goal-oriented work that reflects each client’s priorities and lived experiences.
Clients actively participate in identifying goals, shaping sessions, and monitoring progress, ensuring that skill development remains relevant and motivating.

Sessions
Individual Skills Training: Individual skills training may occur 1–4 times per week for 15–90 minutes per session, depending on the type of goals being targeted and the level of support a client prefers.
Some clients benefit from brief check-ins focused on accountability and self-management, while others engage in structured sessions to learn and practice specific skills related to academic performance, employment, social relationships, or independent living.
Assent is ongoing and actively respected throughout services. Clients are encouraged to communicate preferences, adjust pacing, and revisit goals as their needs or motivation change.
This approach prioritizes skill-building for real adult life rather than compliance, promoting sustainable progress and long-term independence.
School/Worksite Coaching: Environmental coaching will take place where appropriate. This can include class or workplace observations, as well as on-the-job coaching.
Check ins: Coaching sessions will entail check ins to ensure goals continue to be meaningful to the client (or change them to align with client values) and to ensure no barriers to receiving services or support in the community exist.
Delivery Methods
Natural Environment: Sessions can be held in homes, workplaces, and community settings where applicable.
Telehealth: Accessible via a secure, online meeting platform for remote coaching and therapy.
Hybrid Model: Combination of in-person and remote services to maximize accessibility of services.
