Hi, I'm Lorena.
I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Texas (LBA-TX), and an International Behavior Analyst (IBA), with a master's in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
I work with clients in both English and Spanish.
I've spent the last decade working with autistic and neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults, including four years as a transition specialist with UH-Clear Lake's Connecting to College program, where I helped students navigate the move from high school into college life. I currently serve as an At-Large Representative on the Texas Association for Behavior Analysis (TxABA) Professional Issues & Development Committee.
This practice is for the version of me who could have benefited from this kind of support during my own transition into a neurodivergent adulthood.
It's also for every teen, every young adult, and every family that deserves guidance grounded in respect, real skill-building, and the belief that growing into adulthood is something you get to do on your own terms.
Every client I work with sets the direction. My job is to help you build the skills that get you where you want to go, at your pace, with your values driving the plan.
I prioritize:
Your choice, dignity, and autonomy
Honest, transparent communication about what we do and don't do
Evidence-based strategies that work in real life, not just in sessions
Coordination with families and other professionals, only with your consent
Let's Connect!
Whether you're an adult exploring services for yourself, a parent trying to figure out the next step for your young adult, or a professional looking to collaborate, I'd love to hear from you.
Together, we can create opportunities rooted in Voice, Ownership, Independence, Confidence, and Empowerment, the very heart of V.O.I.C.E. ABA.
