We work with people, not on them.
That sentence is the foundation of everything we do at V.O.I.C.E. ABA. Every goal, every session, every plan starts with what matters to you, and unfolds at a pace you help set.
Our Mission
To help adolescents and adults with autism (or related needs) build the skills they need to live independent, connected, and meaningful adult lives through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral support.
What V.O.I.C.E. Stands For
Voice: Your story, your needs, and your perspective, heard and taken seriously.
Ownership: Goals begin with what matters to you and the adult life you want to build.
Independence: Real-life skills you can use to navigate the world on your own terms.
Communication: Saying what you mean, asking for what you need, and building relationships that matter to you.
Empowerment: You stay in the driver's seat, making informed decisions, setting direction, and owning your progress.
How We Practice
You drive the work.
Your "yes" matters every session, not just on the first day. If you're not into a goal, we don't push through. We pause, we listen, and we adjust.
In our field this is called assent, and it's the foundation of how we practice.
Skills, not compliance.
We're not here to make you behave a certain way.
We're here to help you learn what you want to learn, in a way that holds up beyond our sessions.
Goals are functional, practical, and meaningful.
Dignity and emotional safety come first.
We prioritize predictability, trust, and respect for your communication style and personal boundaries.
Participation is never forced.
Your lived experience shapes the work.
Honest, transparent communication.
We're upfront about what we do, what we don't do, what to expect, and how decisions get made.
When caregivers or other professionals are involved, it happens with your consent and clear boundaries.
Why This Matters
If you've had services in the past that felt like things were being done to you instead of with you, V.O.I.C.E. ABA is built to be different.
